About

A field guide to a few places, done properly.

Stonepath Digest is a small travel-and-culture publication. We write about places, the people who make them, and the things that are genuinely useful to know — then we put it all on a map.

Most travel coverage is either a wall of listings or a wall of dreams. We wanted something in between: considered, opinionated, and usable. Stories you’d actually act on, and facts you’d actually repeat.

So the map and the writing are one thing, not two. Every pin is a way into a story; every story points back to a place you can stand in. Read, then go — or go, then understand.

How the digest works

  1. We pick places with a real hook — history, a person, a moment, a thing worth seeing.
  2. We write the story, and pull out the one practical thing locals wish visitors knew.
  3. It goes on the map as a pin. Tap it, read the teaser, follow it into the full piece.
  4. Each week, the best of it lands in your inbox as a single dispatch.
